Lost your password? Please follow these steps to get it back:1) Click the "Login" link toward the top left of the forum screen. 2) On the resulting login screen, click the link next to the text "» Lost Password?" 3) You'll now have a screen on which to enter your email address. Enter the email address you used when registering at EX5Tech. The forum software will then search the memberlist for your account to ensure a match, and automatically send your login name and password to your email address. If you have lost your password AND changed your email address since registering at EX5Tech, you're out of luck for "self help". In this case, please send me your EX5Tech "login name" (NOT your "display name") and/or your old email address (I have to actually be able to find your account!), along with your new email address. Make sure the new email address is correctly typed, and that it's a valid working address. I'll then enter your new email address in your EX5Tech Profile. This will trigger the forum software to generate a new random password for your account, and send an automated email to your new address with your login information.

Hi Ski,You already have a tremendous amount of overhead maintaining this site, but ... (and I bet you knew the 'but' was coming)would you allow us (who request it) to be allowed to use the same login from home and work? If this takes more than 5 minutes of your time, just forget it. Its that I would like not to have to remember who I am based on where I am, if you know what I mean ... Thanks, Mike ____________________ "The Yamaha EX5 isn't just a workstation, it's the worlds first super synthesizer!"

Mike, I'm lost! There's no reason you can't use the same login name wherever you can get your hands on a 'net connected computer.Obviously, you had some trouble in order to make you think that you couldn't. That would lead me to believe you had a cookies problem at your second location... but that doesn't make sense since you *are* apparently successful in accessing the forums from both home and work. You can just quit using your "yamex5_at_home" account, and simply logon with your "yamex5" account whether your at home, work, or visiting Aunt Millie! If you're having trouble doing this, please let me know *exactly* what the problem is (what actions you take, what screens you see, what error messages you get, etc.). ____________________ Ski www.ex5tech.com
