I'm pleased to announce a "bumper" release of ex.factory, an.factory, dx.factory, fs.factory, motif.factory and sy.factory, all of which now include Librarian support which allows you to keep all of your favourite items (e.g. Voices and Performances) in one Library database, and then sort and filter them to find the patch that you want.

They can be found over at http://www.xfactory-librarians.co.uk

Further details on each Librarian can be found in postings the relevant sub forums.

This release has been a long time coming!

Thanks, Renato.

It's been one the many things I've been up to which is why it's taken so darn long!

Hello Mr. Cook

I downloaded Exfactory 6.0 and tried it...
If I understood well, all library features are only for registered users, isn't it???
If yes, ok, I'm not registered so I cannot appreciate them.
Thank you anyway and best regards!

Muspy

Yes, this new version requires registration to enable file save, MIDI export and Librarian features.

Just sent money using paypal.

A simple question: License is linked to serial number, but what happens if i need to reinstall the program (for example if i have to format the Hd, or so) or if i use more pcs (i have 2, 1 notebook and 1 desktop)?
Thanks!

Hi, like a lot of vendors, I operate a "fair re-licensing policy" in that I will update a license free of charge to take account of occasional system upgrades, rebuilds after crashes, etc.

If you have more than one machine, you need to have an extra license, which I will do for half price for each extra license.

I might upgrade my license that I purchased several years ago if I ever start really using EX5r again. I play vsts for the most part these days triggered by Motif or Axon.
Is e-mail inquiry the only way to get upgrade price?

In this crap economy, I can't afford the fee for the ex.factory 6.0. Therefore, can someone direct me to a site that offers a previous version? My disk drive needs to be bypassed, and, I need to do bulk dumps to and from my windows based laptop, via usb and midi. Don't need to edit/rearrange sounds/etc, only need to load/save 'synth all' commands and 'wave' load commands.
Thanks
Joel

C'mon Joel, everybody that can own an EX can afford $25! ISTR that MIDI support always required the shareware fee. It's a very modest amount considering the work that has gone in to it and any 're-directions' to any other sites won't enable the MIDI/Save support which requires a registration key.
