A slightly early Merry Christmas to all of our EX5Tech members, and, in the words of the immortal Dave Allen, "may your god go with you".I find it very hard to believe that ten years have flown by since I unwrapped my Silver EX5 on Christmas Day 1999; OK, my missus looked at the size of the box and refused to wrap it, so it was more unpacking than unwrapping! After ten years of ownership, I still love my EX5 and it's still the heart of my gigging rig. And whilst this community is a lot quieter these days than in its heyday, it's still one of the best on the net! I hope all yuor presents are noisy ones! ____________________ Regards, Derek Cook

Thanks guys, I believe that video is from an old BBC christmas special (somewhere in the 90's). That is by far my favorite version fo Silent Night and she sings in Irish! Everytime I hear this song a get chills. I have an MP3 version somewhere...too many songs, hard drives to look on. One of these days i'll stumble on it!Anyway, I just wanna wish all you guys a blessed 2010. May you be healthy, happy and may your EXs brings you all happyness! Cheers and welcome 2010(I'm so glad this year is over! ) ____________________ The New EX5 kid on the block!!!! Gear: EX5, MO6, SY77, Alesis Ion, TG-500, JV-880, Korg Legacy Collection, Jupiter-8V

It was so terribly cold. Snow was falling, and it was almost dark. Evening came on, the last evening of the year. In the cold and gloom a poor little girl, bareheaded and barefoot, was walking through the streets. Of course when she had left her house she'd had slippers on, but what good had they been? ... The Little Match Girl http://mx44.linux.dk/~jens/unpublished/mtchgirl.mp3 ... "She wanted to warm herself," the people said. No one imagined what beautiful things she had seen, and how happily she had gone with her old grandmother into the bright New Year. [ December 31, 2010: Message edited by: jma ]
