Hi,

I cannot use aftertouch in my EX5...I read on manual that EX has this feature, but I search for it in all user manual I canīt found anything..

I canīt found too any information in keyboard menu about aftertouch, like assign a modulation function to aftertouch

I tested all factory presets and cannot play aftertouch...

Has EXe aftertouch????

Tks

Sorry for my english

Vagner

Yes, all I can tell you for sure is that it does have aftertouch, although not polyphonic aftertouch. Unfortunately, I am new to the EX5 so I don't really know where to tell you to look for aftertouch settings, as I just spent some time briefly in the edit and utility menus and couldnt find it. Good luck on getting it working.

If you're having trouble with aftertouch, see the following recent topic:

Vagner,
I'm the "other" aftertouch victim, so I'm interested myself. Please follow Ski's directions in the thread. A second keyboard with aftertouch will be useful. If you don't have one, perhaps you have a nearby friend with one ...?
Thanks,
Mike

Vagner, did you try some VL Brass Voices in P2 area? Try a Trumpet voice that says VL+AWM, and press harder on the key - it should go loud and quiet for you.

But only certain preset voices have Aftertouch. VL ones are usually the best to try first, as VL relies on aftertouch for realism.

But like Ski says, you're going to have to read up and get used to the EX5.
