Ive just picked up a PER to complement my MEK and the output of the MEK is way hotter than the PER. It also states that on the DSI-website and the manual version 2, and they recommend placing a mixer between the MEK and the PER. Im not to keen on putting a mixer between my synth for one of its voices, has anyone found an elegant solution for this? Maybe a product to recommend?
If i turn the master-volume on the MEK it also changes the volume on the PER, otherwise that would have solved it

I found you can turn down the volume on the mek first to reduce its output, and then turn down and back up the vol on the PER. To its max. Takes a bit of adjusting but is works. you could also balance them with out midi connected first and then connect the midi up and play as a poly.

The reason the output is hotter is that the Poly has to output up to 4 voices through the converters. So the output is down 6 dB relative to the mono Evolver.
