Hi, I've recently made some guitar effect pacthed on my original mono Evo that I would love to have for gigs, and while Evo is a tout little box that I woujld velcro to my board without hesitation, it is just not optimized for use as a guitar pedal--for instance, it isn't a pedal and has no on/off switch...

I was wondering if any of you have figured out good ways of using Evo as an Efx processor live. Since it offers no bypass, I am figuring the only way to bypass it is to have a wide open patch that is your default, but even there I am worreid about overdriving it because of the night-to-night unpredictabilites with my other pedals.

If I pursue this I'll probably have to put Evo on its own effects loop (which sucks 'cause I have no interest in buying a nice analog switch pedal right now...)

Any tips or experiences?

Well its not a pedal, but its an amazing unit with guitar.
If you want to turn it on and off you could send a split from the board and run that into the evolver.
Then when you dont want to hear the processed evolver anymore, turn down the send.

The 3rd track here is a good example of the Evolver processing guitar.
