Hi,might not be of some help right now, except you know somebody with a Roland JV- or XV- Series Synth with the "Orchestral II" sampleROMboard installed, which you could sample.. The only bagpipe sample which didn't annoy the crap out of me when I needed it for a medieval dance in a theatre piece came out of the above mentioned board. We are talking far before softwaresampler times here.. If nobody else comes up with sounds/samples in EXformat taking a look here might help, if you need a VSTplugIn or you use the AKaiformat CDrom which is available there, too. I bought that one around 1998 and still use some of the sounds once in awhile.. Hope I could help, cu Malte ____________________ ----------------------------------- Malte Krug - Synthesizer- & Pianotechnician on tour worldwide - Service and Tuning

Hello Jürgen,I am terribly sorry being late Anyway, here is a sound called FS LochScape from my Fantom-X6, recorded as is in stereo and converted into mp3. bagbipe_demo edit. Will record the same piece using the xv3080. Hang in there :-) [ December 01, 2011: Message edited by: Daniel_L ]

Hi Jürgen,I'll make sure to sample the fantom. Is C3 sufficient? It is no problem for me to sample the drone two samples per octave and the pipe every other key if you like? I don't know how the original Fantom sound is sampled (not easy to hear). Also, i have the Fantom connected to my digital mixer via sp/dif and use 48khz/24 bits. Is that ok or would you like 44.1/16? I believe i can do it this evening. kind regards Daniel edit. do you want them dry or as they sound on the clip, above? [ December 02, 2011: Message edited by: Daniel_L ]

Hi,Finally managed to get some time to do it :-) It is a 18Mb wav (24bit/48khz) so you might need to adjust it to 16/44.1. Happy bagpiping several tones + drone of babpipe
